Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap with 18-36 month implementation horizons
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR) for market viability and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia to accelerate innovation
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on future technology adoption
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of technological foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (demonstrated through published research or patents)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or scale-ups
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (Python, R, Tableau) and scenario modeling
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
