- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Secure strategic partnerships and funding for experimental projects
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in future-tech domains
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Exceptional strategic thinking with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience securing $1M+ in innovation funding or venture capital
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
