Responsibilities
- Architect next-gen technology frameworks integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping solutions for 2026 market demands
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technology adoption across industries
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Pioneer open-source initiatives to accelerate industry-wide innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology architecture or R&D leadership with proven 2026-vision projects
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or decentralized systems
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 technology journals
- Portfolio showcasing deployed systems with 5+ years future-proofing
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (e.g., NSF, DARPA)
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
