- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with product teams to incubate next-gen products with $50M+ revenue potential
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation pipeline effectiveness
- Build relationships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author annual 'FutureTech Outlook' whitepapers for industry leadership
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership
- Proven track record launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., Web3, neuromorphic computing)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar foresight certification preferred
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (HBR, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience scaling innovation teams across global markets
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
