- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology interfaces)
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Present strategic technology forecasts to executive board and investor committees
- Build and lead a future tech incubation lab with $10M+ annual R&D budget
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web3.0, Bio-AI convergence forums)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact on market-shifting innovations
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (Singularity Institute certification preferred)
- Proven track record scaling tech ventures from concept to IPO
- Deep understanding of Web3.0, quantum computing, and neurotech landscapes
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in MIT Tech Review or equivalent tier
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Innovation Management
