Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, sustainable systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Document and disseminate future tech insights through internal thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services in tech-forward markets
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or sustainable tech
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience managing innovation portfolios with $1M+ budgets
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFM, CPSM)
