Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum AI, neurotech, and sustainable computing
- Lead high-stakes R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual budgets and cross-functional global teams
- Forge strategic partnerships with Ivy League research labs and government innovation consortia
- Present technological forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee commercialization of patent-pending technologies through agile development cycles
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor next-generation innovators through our Future Leaders Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of launching at least two category-defining technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bio-AI, etc.)
- Executive-level experience managing >$30M budgets and 50+ person teams
- Published thought leadership in Nature/Science/IEEE or equivalent tier
- Security clearance eligibility or willingness to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
