Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap with 5-year strategic vision
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with rapid iteration cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members for decision-making
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, R&D sprints, and thought leadership
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget with measurable ROI tracking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record launching at least two disruptive technologies to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or neurotech
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major tech conferences
