- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR, biotech interfaces, autonomous systems)
- Conduct horizon-scanning analysis of emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley accelerators and global research institutions
- Present future-tech frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact models
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-disrupting products/services
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption curve modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex futures simply
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS, CFS)
