Responsibilities
- Lead development of 2026-adjacent technology roadmaps in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech disruptors and opportunities
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and key stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation culture
- Author white papers on next-gen tech paradigms
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with proven impact on future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Track record of scaling technologies from concept to market
- Experience with futures methodologies like Delphi or scenario planning
- Strong network with academic and industry innovation leaders
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into actionable strategy
