Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of emerging technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market adoption
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics frameworks)
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Drive cross-functional prototyping sprints for experimental technologies
- Author whitepapers on future tech implications for industry verticals
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, neuromorphic computing, or decentralized networks
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals on future tech topics
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding
- Fluency in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional presentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
