Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Lead $2M+ R&D initiatives in emerging tech verticals
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Present breakthrough concepts at global tech summits (CES, Web Summit)
- Oversee patent portfolios and IP commercialization processes
- Mentor junior researchers in rapid prototyping methodologies
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies
Qualifications
- MS/MSc in Computer Science, AI, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in emerging tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching 3+ commercialized technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or generative AI
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or EU Horizon program contacts
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks
