Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 innovation horizons
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with trillion-dollar market potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation labs
- Develop patent portfolios protecting breakthrough intellectual property
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor next-generation engineers through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or genetic engineering
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience securing $50M+ in venture capital or government grants
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, etc.)
- Strong network with global tech innovation ecosystems
