Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and develop actionable innovation roadmaps
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen products with 5-year commercialization horizons
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Manage a $50M+ innovation portfolio and vendor ecosystem
- Present disruptive concepts to investors and board stakeholders
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile development of futuristic prototypes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or venture innovation
- Proven track record scaling emerging tech from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, AR/VR, Web3, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and tech forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial modeling and portfolio management skills
- Exceptional communication for translating complex concepts
