Responsibilities
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, AI, biotech) by 2026
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze market disruptors and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers for collaborative R&D
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory impacts on future technology deployment
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies and ethical tech governance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services post-2020
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI projections in emerging markets
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management (e.g., INSEAD)
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for experimental technology initiatives
