Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their business implications
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026+ strategic objectives
- Champion innovation labs and pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and lead a cross-functional futurist task force
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers and industry forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite decisions
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Experience scaling tech teams in high-growth environments
