Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech) with transformative potential
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct competitive analysis and due diligence on disruptive startups and academic research
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate technological insights into product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and investors with data-backed scenarios
- Build and manage a network of academic, industry, and government innovation partners
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications for future adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and commercializing innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience building scenarios for future-state technology ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at executive level
- Published thought leadership or patents in future technology domains
