Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with global market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (Web4, AGI, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability for market entry
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies for ecosystem building
- Present visionary technology forecasts to the board of directors with data-driven impact assessments
- Oversee a $15M R&D budget for future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI projections
- Mentor a 12-person innovation lab team in agile methodologies and exponential thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or C-suite tech leadership with proven 5+ year horizon planning
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, biotech interfaces)
- Track record of launching at least two market-defining products with $50M+ ARR
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Business Innovation with MBA preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques, technology roadmapping)
- Experience scaling global tech teams across 3+ continents with diverse cultural contexts
