Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and testing emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, Web4.0)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive market shifts 2026-2030
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and investor committees
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation leadership
- Proven track record in scaling tech ventures through paradigm shifts
- Expertise in AI ethics, sustainable tech, and exponential technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends (2020-2025)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP-V, Delphi Method)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight
