- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and assess commercial viability
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and integrate disruptive startups
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and industry consortiums
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for experimental tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record delivering at least 2 large-scale digital transformations
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, generative AI, or sustainable tech
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Certified in Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on tech disruption
- Strong network with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.)
- Published thought leader in tech innovation journals
