Responsibilities
- Strategic Visioning: Lead the architectural design for next-generation systems, ensuring scalability, security, and readiness for 2026 market demands.
- Roadmap Development: Collaborate with product managers to define the technical roadmap for the 2026 product suite, identifying emerging technologies and integration opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Technical Architecture: Oversee the selection and implementation of critical technologies, including distributed systems, edge computing, and advanced AI models.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- R&D Innovation: Conduct deep-dive research into emerging trends (e.g., Neuromorphic Computing) and prototype viable solutions.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to industry standards, security protocols, and ethical AI guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or architectural role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Rust, and cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure). Experience with quantum computing frameworks is a significant plus.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performance engineering teams through complex technical challenges.
- Innovation: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and solve unstructured problems with scalable solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical strategy to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our San Francisco office 3 days a week.
