Responsibilities
- Architecting the 2026 Vision: Define and implement the long-term technical roadmap for our core systems, specifically focusing on advancements leading up to and including 2026.
- High-Performance Systems: Design scalable, distributed microservices architecture capable of handling exponential data growth.
- Innovation Leadership: Lead research initiatives into emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Readiness, Edge Computing) to integrate into our product pipeline.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering leads to translate strategic goals into technical specifications.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Establish best practices for code quality, security, and maintainability across the engineering team.
- Legacy Modernization: Strategically plan the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-native frameworks.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or architect role.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java; deep understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Foresight: Demonstrated ability to analyze trends and create roadmaps for future tech implementations (specifically relevant to the 2026 landscape).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
