Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics, and climate tech to identify 2026-2030 inflection points
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 7+ emerging technology verticals
- Architect cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Present disruptive opportunities to C-suite and board with data-driven risk/reward models
- Build and lead a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic impact against quarterly business cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI governance, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Advanced degree in Strategy, Futures Studies, or technical field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Shell's Two Uncertainties framework)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Trend Impact Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term strategic implementations
