Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum AI integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and next-gen biotech applications
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for prototype development and pilot programs
- Author thought leadership publications for MIT Technology Review and WIRED
- Mentor emerging talent through Horizon's Future Leaders Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 tech firms
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and EU Horizon Europe funding
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting models
