- Lead incubation of emerging tech projects (AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech)
- Secure strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Present to C-suite and board on tech ROI and market disruption potential
- Manage a 15-person cross-functional team of engineers and researchers
- Drive patent portfolio expansion targeting 50+ new IP filings annually
- Represent company at global tech summits and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record scaling AI/quantum projects from concept to commercialization
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in tech forecasting frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Experience securing $10M+ in government/private innovation grants
- Deep network with VCs, research institutions, and Big Tech innovators
