Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Strategic Roadmap, identifying key technology drivers and market shifts that will impact our industry.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of emerging tech stacks, including Generative AI, Quantum Computing, and Edge IoT.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to prototype and validate high-impact future technologies.
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry partners, academia, and thought leaders to ensure Orbit Systems remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Define the long-term technology vision and translate it into actionable engineering and business strategies.
- Manage a budget for experimental projects and proof-of-concept initiatives aimed at the 2026 release cycle.
- Present complex technical concepts and strategic plans to the C-Suite and Board of Directors.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or engineering leadership within a fast-paced tech environment.
- Proven experience in Strategic Planning with a focus on 5-10 year horizons and emerging market trends.
- Deep technical fluency in modern software architecture, Cloud Computing, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Exceptional ability to translate abstract concepts into clear, actionable business roadmaps.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in high-growth scale-ups or Fortune 500 environments.
