The Role
We are seeking a Director of Future Technologies to spearhead our long-term innovation initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying emerging trends in AI, Quantum Computing, and Spatial Computing, and translating them into actionable product strategies. Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the comprehensive 2026 product and technology roadmap, aligning business goals with emerging tech trends.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research into emerging technologies (AI, AR/VR, Blockchain) to identify viable opportunities for competitive advantage.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Communicate complex technical visions to non-technical stakeholders and secure buy-in for high-budget initiatives.
- Product Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end development process of experimental technologies, from ideation to pilot launch.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of future-tech features.
- Partnerships: Explore and establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs focused on 2026+ technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Strategic Consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Tech Vision: Demonstrated ability to anticipate future technology shifts and translate them into business value.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets and leading large, cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid iteration cycles.
