We are building the infrastructure for 2026 and beyond. At Apex Horizon Systems, we are pioneering the next generation of autonomous computing and Agentic AI. We are looking for a visionary Director of Future Tech Strategy to define the roadmap that will shape our industry in the coming years.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between abstract future concepts and executable engineering strategies. You will lead a high-velocity team focused on long-term R&D, ensuring our products remain relevant in the rapidly evolving technological landscape of 2026 and the decades that follow.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Horizon: Lead the strategic vision for emerging technologies, specifically focusing on AI Agents, Neural Interfaces, and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs).
- Roadmap Execution: Translate high-level future predictions into actionable technical roadmaps and quarterly deliverables for the engineering department.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with key research institutions and tech leaders to stay ahead of the curve.
- Prototype Management: Oversee the lifecycle of experimental projects, ensuring rapid prototyping and validation of futuristic concepts.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Build and mentor a world-class team of futurists, engineers, and product strategists.
Qualifications
- Advanced Technical Expertise: 10+ years of experience in software engineering or data science, with a proven track record of leadership roles.
- Future-Forward Vision: Demonstrated ability to anticipate technological shifts and apply them to business strategy (e.g., understanding the implications of AGI by 2026).
- Strategic Mindset: MBA or equivalent experience in high-level strategic planning and execution.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex future concepts to stakeholders, investors, and technical teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
