- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical and strategic roadmap for the organization leading up to and beyond 2026, identifying emerging trends in AI, Quantum Computing, and IoT.
- Innovation Leadership: Spearhead R&D initiatives and pilot programs for cutting-edge technologies, evaluating feasibility and ROI.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with C-Suite executives, product teams, and external partners to align technology strategies with business growth goals.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses of competitive landscapes and industry shifts to position Apex Horizon as a market leader.
- Policy & Standards: Establish internal technical standards and governance frameworks for future tech adoption.
- Talent Development: Mentor high-potential engineering leads and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, technology management, or a senior technical leadership role within a Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environment.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Blockchain, Edge Computing) and their potential business applications.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing diverse audiences.
- Adaptability: Proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments.
