Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end autonomous driving systems including perception, decision-making, and control modules
- Design fail-safe mechanisms and redundancy protocols for Level 5 autonomy
- Lead integration of AI/ML models with vehicle hardware and software ecosystems
- Develop simulation frameworks for real-world scenario testing and validation
- Establish performance benchmarks and KPIs for autonomous systems
- Collaborate with regulators to ensure compliance with evolving safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in automotive systems engineering or autonomous robotics
- Expertise in sensor fusion (LiDAR, radar, camera) and SLAM technologies
- Proficiency in C++/Python and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Experience with ROS, Autoware, or comparable autonomous driving frameworks
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
- Published research in autonomous systems or IEEE conference proceedings
- Strong understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety standards
