Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel neural architectures for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating AI with biotech and nanotechnology
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in emerging fields
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-generation AI decision-making systems
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through grant proposals
- Collaborate with UN Future Technologies Task Force on global AI standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years developing production-level machine learning systems
- Published record in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning or neuromorphic computing
- Proficiency with PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed training frameworks
- Strong background in AI ethics and responsible AI development
- Experience securing government/industry research grants
- Fluency in at least one functional programming language (Haskell, OCaml)
