Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026-scale autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-secure AI architectures
- Partner with UN Global Pulse and IEEE to shape international AI standards
- Author whitepapers on AI existential risk mitigation strategies
- Oversee development of neuro-symbolic AI hybrids for explainable decision-making
- Coordinate with DARPA and ESA on next-gen AI-hardware integration
- Mentor post-doc researchers in AI alignment and value learning
Qualifications
- PhD in AI Ethics, Machine Learning, or Cognitive Science with 8+ years applied experience
- Published research in Nature AI or top-tier ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Expertise in AI alignment, value learning, and adversarial robustness
- Experience developing ethical frameworks for autonomous systems at scale
- Deep understanding of quantum computing implications for AI safety
- Track record of influencing global AI policy (OECD, EU AI Act)
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and formal verification tools
