Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Lead cross-functional task forces to assess environmental impact of AI infrastructure and carbon footprints
- Design sustainable technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on circular economy principles
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with regulators, NGOs, and industry bodies on AI governance
- Establish metrics for measuring ethical compliance and sustainability performance across AI products
- Drive innovation in responsible AI through R&D partnerships with academic institutions
- Lead crisis response protocols for ethical breaches or sustainability failures
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in AI/tech with proven track record in ethics or sustainability initiatives
- Deep expertise in AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Certification in ESG reporting or sustainability management (e.g., GRI, SASB)
- Experience developing ethical AI policies for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong background in life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies for digital products
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership on AI ethics or sustainable technology
