Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems across healthcare, finance, and autonomous sectors
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI models to identify bias, privacy risks, and ethical violations
- Develop predictive ethical impact assessments for new AI technologies before deployment
- Advise C-suite executives on regulatory compliance (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and ethical implications
- Create industry-wide ethical AI standards through partnerships with IEEE and World Economic Forum
- Train technical teams in ethical AI development practices and responsible data stewardship
- Represent the company at global AI ethics summits and policy-making forums
Qualifications
- PhD or advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or Law with AI specialization
- Minimum 7 years experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology policy roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation algorithms, explainable AI (XAI), and differential privacy
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, US Algorithmic Accountability Act)
- Published research in top-tier journals on AI ethics or technology ethics
- Experience testifying before congressional committees or regulatory bodies
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE CertAI) or equivalent professional credential
