As a key member of our Ethics & Compliance division, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop auditable bias mitigation protocols, conduct algorithmic impact assessments, and establish industry-leading ethical standards. You'll lead initiatives that translate complex ethical principles into actionable engineering practices while representing our values at international tech summits.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement bias detection/audit protocols for ML models using fairness metrics
- Develop ethical risk assessment frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Create stakeholder engagement strategies for diverse communities affected by AI deployments
- Lead cross-functional ethics reviews for new AI product launches
- Establish transparent documentation standards for algorithmic decision-making
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in industry standards bodies and policy discussions
- Train engineering teams on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI ethics, algorithmic governance, or responsible AI initiatives
- Proficiency with fairness toolkits (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Strong understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Experience conducting ethical impact assessments for high-stakes AI systems
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques across ML pipelines
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research in AI ethics or related field highly desirable
