You'll lead research initiatives that address algorithmic bias, transparency, and societal impact while mentoring a diverse cohort of researchers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for enterprise-scale deployments
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives on bias mitigation and fairness algorithms
- Develop audit protocols for generative AI systems deployed in regulated industries
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at global AI ethics conferences
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate ethical safeguards into AI pipelines
- Advise C-suite executives on emerging AI regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in AI ethics research or responsible AI implementation
- Published work in top-tier AI ethics venues (e.g., NeurIPS Ethics, ACM FAccT)
- Expertise in fairness metrics and bias detection methodologies
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong programming skills in Python with ML framework experience
- Track record of translating research into industry applications
