Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in critical infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional task forces to audit algorithmic bias and fairness across machine learning pipelines
- Represent the company in high-stakes policy discussions with federal regulators and industry coalitions
- Design governance protocols for quantum-AI integration projects targeting 2026 commercial deployment
- Train executive leadership on emerging AI risks and mitigation strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to embed ethical-by-design principles in next-gen AI architectures
- Produce annual AI impact assessments for SEC and congressional reporting requirements
Qualifications
- PhD in AI Ethics, Computer Science, or Policy with 10+ years of technical governance experience
- Proven track record in drafting AI legislation or regulatory frameworks adopted by Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI Risk Management Frameworks
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, US Algorithmic Accountability Act, and global AI governance trends
- Executive-level experience in autonomous systems or generative AI product development
- Certified AI Auditor (CAIA) or equivalent advanced certification
