You'll pioneer methodologies for bias mitigation, transparency enforcement, and ethical deployment of generative AI in healthcare, climate modeling, and autonomous infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI/ML systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments in autonomous decision systems
- Develop policy blueprints for AI deployment in regulated industries
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Create audit trails for explainable AI (XAI) in high-stakes applications
- Monitor emerging regulations and adapt compliance strategies proactively
- Train engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech roles
- Expertise in NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and emerging global standards
- Experience with bias detection tools (AIF360, IBM Fairness 360)
- Deep understanding of generative AI risks and mitigation strategies
- Strong policy writing and stakeholder communication skills
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE, ECAI) preferred
- Published work on AI ethics or governance a plus
