Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with emerging regulatory standards
- Lead cross-functional teams in auditing AI systems for bias, fairness, and transparency
- Establish policies for responsible AI deployment in high-impact domains (healthcare, finance, autonomous systems)
- Represent the company in global AI ethics forums and regulatory discussions
- Create training programs for technical teams on ethical AI development practices
- Conduct risk assessments for novel AI applications and develop mitigation strategies
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to evolving AI regulations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in AI governance, ethics, or technology policy leadership roles
- Deep understanding of AI ethics frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Proven experience developing organizational ethics programs for tech companies
- Expertise in bias detection and mitigation in machine learning systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with international regulatory environments and policy development
