Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with ISO/IEC 42001 and emerging US federal regulations
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments on ML models using Explainable AI (XAI) tools
- Develop compliance protocols for autonomous systems in regulated industries (healthcare, finance)
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Author impact assessments for high-stakes AI deployments in critical infrastructure
- Partner with policymakers to shape future AI governance legislation
- Create transparency dashboards for AI decision-making processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field; PhD preferred
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible AI development
- Expertise in bias detection techniques and fairness metrics (AIF360, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and evolving US AI regulations
- Experience with regulatory compliance in healthcare (HIPAA) or finance (RegTech)
- Strong knowledge of ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and XAI methodologies
- Certification in AI Ethics or Responsible AI (e.g., IEEE, Partnership on AI)
