In this pivotal position, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives to preempt ethical risks in AI deployment, develop governance frameworks for autonomous systems, and translate foresight into actionable business strategy. You'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, neurotech pioneers, and climate simulation experts to build responsible innovation ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze ethical implications of emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, AGI precursors) and develop preemptive governance frameworks
- Design and implement ethical risk assessment protocols for AI systems deployed in high-stakes environments (healthcare, infrastructure, defense)
- Lead scenario planning workshops to map technology trajectories and societal impacts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for responsible AI adoption across product development lifecycle
- Partner with legal teams to shape regulatory compliance for next-gen technologies
- Create thought leadership content (whitepapers, policy briefs) positioning Nexus Horizons as ethical innovation leader
- Mentor cross-functional teams on ethical AI principles and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Technology & Society, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics experience
- Deep expertise in global AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
- Proven track record developing ethical AI frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical interactions
- Published research on existential risk mitigation or long-term AI safety strategies
- Experience with foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi studies, scenario planning)
- Proficiency in ethical impact assessment tools and responsible AI development frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical, legal, and executive domains
