About the Role
We are seeking a talented and creative 2D Web Graphics Developer to join our growing design engineering team at Lumina Digital. In this role, you will bridge the gap between static design and interactive web experiences, crafting high-performance, visually stunning 2D animations and graphics for our clients across various industries. You will work closely with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of complex motion graphics.

Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance 2D animations and interactive graphics using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize web graphics and animations for cross-browser compatibility and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma and Adobe XD mockups into responsive, animated web experiences.
- Implement and maintain animation libraries such as GSAP, Anime.js, or Pixi.js.
- Ensure code quality, accessibility, and performance standards are met across all projects.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D web graphics development or animation engineering.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Deep understanding of the Canvas API and animation principles (timing, easing, spacing).
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques for heavy graphics.
- Portfolio demonstrating 2D animation work and interactive web graphics.
