Responsibilities
- Forecast and map technology adoption curves for 2026-2030 across AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Develop strategic roadmaps for enterprise clients navigating post-2025 digital transformation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Author annual 'Tech Horizon Report' analyzing geopolitical and socioeconomic impacts on tech evolution
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and national labs for cutting-edge research
- Mentor junior futurists while building internal thought leadership through whitepapers and keynotes
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for emerging technologies to ensure responsible deployment
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, custom ML models)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term tech strategy
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
