Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product development with future market needs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external investors
- Mentor technical teams on future-proof architecture and ethical implementation
- Author quarterly white papers on technology convergence opportunities
- Manage partnerships with research institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.) for early tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, or biotech preferred)
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and technology forecasting frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within academic and corporate innovation ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience scaling technical teams across multiple geographies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend analysis
