Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmapping for 2026+ technology adoption across quantum, biotech, and AI sectors
- Anticipate and mitigate emerging tech risks through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Present future-tech insights to C-suite executives and government innovation boards
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for next-gen prototyping initiatives
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology implications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 7+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum computing or generative AI research
- Published work in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Deep understanding of global tech policy frameworks (EU AI Act, US Innovation Act)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks (IEEE 7000, ACM Code of Ethics)
- Experience with venture capital tech due diligence processes
