Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and geopolitical factors to inform strategic innovation priorities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technological initiatives with business objectives
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present visionary concepts to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Monitor and evaluate ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation
- Strong presentation skills with executive experience
