Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 3-year technology foresight framework for quantum AI, biocomputing, and neuro-interface systems
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging tech into next-gen SaaS platforms
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Manage a $2M innovation fund for pilot programs in quantum-entangled security and synthetic biology
- Author thought leadership pieces for IEEE, Nature, and TechCrunch
- Coordinate with MIT Media Lab and ETH Zurich on joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in computational physics, AI ethics, or bioengineering
- 5+ years in strategic technology planning at FAANG or unicorn startups
- Published research in quantum machine learning or neuro-symbolic integration
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for AI/bio-tech (FDA, EU AI Act)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology patents or major industry breakthroughs
