Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmap for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead research initiatives in emerging tech domains and publish thought leadership
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to prototype future-proof systems
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget and vendor ecosystem
- Present findings to C-suite and government innovation boards
- Mentor junior futurists and build interdisciplinary innovation teams
- Patent novel methodologies for sustainable tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, blockchain, synthetic biology
- Experience securing federal or corporate innovation grants
- Portfolio of implemented future-focused projects
