Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 strategic objectives
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biocomputing, AGI) for commercial viability
- Author white papers and policy briefs on ethical AI deployment and digital sovereignty
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and strategic partnerships
- Present findings to C-suite executives, investors, and regulatory bodies
- Oversee prototype development of next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Establish industry-wide standards for sustainable tech lifecycle management
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ in strategic planning or futurism
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Expertise in AI ethics frameworks and digital governance
- Track record of securing federal/state innovation grants
- Proficiency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards and UN policy forums
