Responsibilities
- Forecast technological disruptions and market trends through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Design scalable innovation frameworks integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for sustainable tech solutions
- Develop patent-pending prototypes in emerging domains (e.g., neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with academia and government on future-tech policy development
- Mentor teams in adaptive innovation methodologies and future-proofing strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or climate tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech forums
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ future-tech implementations
